McLean Crew Club’s annual Mulch Madness weekend is March 2-3, 2024 (Blizzard back-up date March 9-10).

Mulch Madness is McLean Crew's single biggest fundraiser and responsible for contributing ~70% of our fundraising budget and 30% of our Club’s total revenue. This is a vital fundraiser for the financial health of our club and helps to avoid higher dues. Every athlete and family participates.

During January and February, McLean Crew Club rowers ask our community to support MCC by ordering mulch. Then, on Mulch Madness weekend, MCC rowers and families deliver around 20,000 bags of high-quality, double-shredded hardwood mulch to the McLean community in less than 36 hours – those are some fast rowers! It takes our team working together to accomplish this tremendous task - athletes, families, and our community.  Are you ready to join the Mulch Madness? ​
