Dear Stotesbury Parents,

This email includes several ACTION ITEMS.

  • Payment and Forms DUE MAY 11th. See Stotebury

  • Stotebury Fee - Thank you to those of you who have paid the fee – there are about 20 more who need to make payment ASAP. This event is “post-season” and not included in the MCC budget and all costs are passed through to rowers participating.

  • Permission Forms – about 15 permission forms are complete, while 20 are waiting for the rower’s signature. PLEASE prompt your child to respond to the email from DocuSign(all resent this morning). It will take 2 minutes. Several people have not completed the parent part of the form so please complete today, then follow up with your child.

  • Medical Forms Please address the medical forms if needed – please do not make it harder on our volunteers.

  • VOLUNTEERS - You are tired of hearing requests only a bit less than we are tired of asking. As this is a “post-season” event, volunteer needs are above and beyond the membership agreement and WE NEED YOUR HELP:

  • ON-SITE Volunteers

  • ice/water manager: keep water and ice stocked for food tent and trailer during the entire regatta;

  • Thursday Night Dinner: pick up dinner Thursday at 5:30 pm at Maggianos and deliver to tent;

  • Friday Lunch: pick up lunch at Pot Belly on Friday at 10:45 a.m. and deliver to tent;

  • Saturday Lunch: pick up lunch at Chipotle on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. and deliver to tent.

  • communications manager; provide periodic email updates to parents, take photos and update Facebook.

  • Preparation Assistant – We have a discrete 2-4 hour task for someone right now, who is comfortable with excel and online systems to validate and print required field trip forms and follow up with outstanding items.

interested in volunteering for any of these duties – although this is “post season” you can earn volunteer credit if you still need it.

Also, since both freshman boats qualified for Nationals, we are looking for at least one freshman parent to serve as a chaperone.

NOTE: - All of these positions will be needed as well for Nationals – you can volunteer NOW if you know you are going. Please contact Katharina Gollner-Sweet if you’re interested.
