The schedule for tomorrow's Tri-Meet is attached - this is the tentatively planned schedule.
Rowers should be at TBC at 6:30 am. Most Novice/Freshman rowers should be done at about 9:00am and Varsity should wrap up shortly after 10:00am.
This is a short event and once the rowers have launched, they'll be on the water the whole time. For that reason and because people will be in 2 locations, we are not setting up the food tent. Please plan to bring your own food items, or you can find places in Georgetown open early (Starbucks at Washington Harbor, Paul Bakery on Wisconsin between M St. and Water St.)
You can review maps included in the April Newsletter Part 2 sent on Wednesday this week, the plan is:
Novices to race in the area downstream from TBC where the river is wider and the coxswains have more room for error when they are steering. Viewing will be best along Ohio Drive or on Memorial Bridge and binoculars are always useful. Tip our boats are mostly black (one royal blue) and MCC's oars are plain red. Note: the Novice-4 boat will have multiple races but the times have not been specified in the attached schedule.
Varsity rowers will be on the usual race course starting upstream from Key Bridge toward TBC.
Hope to see you tomorrow. Go McLean!
