Competitive summer rowing/training. Just afternoon practices for the first few weeks (4-6pm). We will have several morning practices as the season progresses (530-730am). If selected, there are two, week long, away competitions. USRowing Club National Championship in Bethel, Ohio from July 12-16. Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in St. Catherines Canada from August 7-13. Rowers are split up into U17 and U19 groups. This is highly recommended to all rowers who want to continue to build their speed through the summer. The programs that are most successful in our area have their athletes rowing competitively during the summer and fall for club programs.

Junior Summer Developmental programs offered at TBC are 3 week sessions that start in June and run through August. If you were a frosh/novice this past year and are looking to gain more confidence in your rowing, then you should sign up for one of these classes. Non-competitive, but there will be some fitness.
Learn to Scull is a 5 day course that starts every Monday from now through the fall. Get a rowing certification and you can take singles out onto the Potomac when you want. Great for parents too!
